Fay Cottage
Fay Cottage is located downtown in the village of La Jolla in the north of the City of San Diego. The cottage is located on the same property of 1920's home, which was recently declared historic under the categorization of the Beach Cottage style. The rental back cottage has a separate living area, full kitchen, laundry facilities, dedicated parking spot and outdoor patio seating for exclusive use by guests. The location is adjacent to two schools but is very private and peaceful in the evening.

Location
The location of this cottage could not be more convenient.It is a short walk to a local beach. There is a bus stop on the corner. Pavilions grocery store is across the street, and there are tons of great restaurants within easy walking distance. There are several coffeehouses a block away. CVS pharmacy is less than one block away.

Things to Know
Mid Stay Cleans
For stays longer than 2 weeks, there are mid-stay cleans that are scheduled approximately every 2 weeks. The cost for the cleans are negotiated at the time of booking the casa.
Mundane Details
- Garbage pickup is Monday morning around 6:45 am. The owner moves the cans when home.
- Gardeners come every other Friday.
Moose
Moose is my social 42 lb blue heeler rescue dog. He will bark when you come in the gate that is front of the parking spot, but then he'll wag is tail and beg for pets. He is not able to enter the cottage patio area or the area by the guests' side gate. He's got canine good citizen certification and is trained for service tasks. I am able to keep him in the side yard, if guests prefer. If you want to stay for longer than a week, AND you don't want to be greeted by moose, we may not be a good fit for you.
